Welcome

Little Horseshoe Ranch is very excited about our 2018 foal crop. We have foals from our Frenchmans Fortune stud, Super Tuf Juba,as well as our Reed Two Eyed King horse. All of our stallions are five panel clear as we feel its up to us as breeders to do our best to produce foals with as few genetic issues as possible. Our mares are  on winter pasture as we feel its good for them to have to work for something to eat as it benefits them as well as their foals, resulting in stronger healthy foals that are up sucking quickly and fewer issues. All of our mares are line bred Barry Pine with a strong dose of Bulls Eye mixed into the family. Bulls Eye was a direct son of Joe Reed II with a very impressive race record of his own. We try to keep speed in our horses on both the top side as well as the bottom. We feel that speed is essential for any horse no matter which event or job they are required to do. Combine that with a trainable mind and your chances of success in any venue is greatly increased. Form to function is also a crucial ingredient in any breeding program as it will help horses do their job as well as stay sound.  The Frenchman line of horses have proven themselves in every facet of the horse industry as extremely capable, trainable, athletic horses with speed to enable their owners to compete at a very high level of competition.

We are extremely happy with the foals from all three of our studs. Straight legs, pretty heads, big hips, all the ingredients needed for a horse you can be proud to own and give you that competitive edge no matter what you may do with them.
